Katana House offers customisation options of your dream house.
Though our design team has put thousands of hours into perfecting the design of PassionHouses and Katana House lines to fit many life scenarios we offer different customization programs to personalize your house your way.
To better understand the process and make it easy for you we have three levels of customisation:
Level 1:
Small changes to the floorplan, move a wall a few inches here and there, change the closet or kitchen layouts without changing the mechanical, electrical or plumbing.
Design fees: 2% to 3% of preliminary building estimate
Level 2:
Changing the space with no more than 10% mechanical, electrical or plumbing changes. Sample: change interior walls - bedroom dimensions, increase livingroom, remove or add storage space, remove or add windows. Make one bedroom smaller and other larger.
Design fees: 3% to 6% of preliminary building estimate
Level 3:
Make changes to mechanical, electrical or plumbing. Change location of kitchen, bathrooms. Increase or decrease exterior dimensions, add extra bathrooms.
Make changes to dimensions of the house: Make ceilings higher or lower, increase side terrace space, add or remove rooms. Make house wider or longer.
Design fees: From 6% of preliminary building estimate as per Katana House price indication guidelines
Even if your dream home means changing the dimensions and layouts our team will work in the Katana House design language and will keep the award winning Katana House signature design in your personalized version.
Interior design and decoration services:
Interior designer and decorator services by our modern design experts.
Fully custom interior design services including optimizing the house for your personal needs. Working with lighting design, ergonomics, storage and spaces, furniture and decor.
Interior design fees start from 150$/hour and 20% on items selected and sourced by interior design team. 500$ minimum design consulting session fee.
Projects average between 2000$ to 2% of the total build cost. + cost of the items and furnishings and sourcing. At sourcing we can offer you help with additional storage arrangements of purchased items and organize shipping to your destination.
Do you want to see how it looks on your lot?
For a fee of 1000$ our design team can place the floor plan on your lot plan in correct scale and lot setbacks.
This helps you imagine how your house will fit in before making the commitment.
For a fee of 1500$ we offer to place an existing 3D model on your lot photos.
Site visits prior to start of a project - starting from 500$ + travel expenses, subject to availability.
